PRAYER and

PRAYER DIARY

In prayer we come before the Lord, rest in is presence and offer up to him the cares and concerns of ourselves and the world.

We take prayer seriously in St. John's and particularly our responsibility to pray for our parish and our world. Our Vicar once described his primary role as 'praying for his people.'

As such, we have a monthly prayer diary where each street in our parish is prayed for once a month. In prayer we lift those people to God and ask for his blessing and protection and that we might come to know how to serve them better.

Each day we also pray for local and international concerns.

We are currently looking to expand our prayer diary to include the members of our congregation.
