New Bible Study Group

We are looking forward to starting our new Bible Study Group.

This will meet monthly, beginning on 25th September at 7pm in church and then meeting every fourth Wednesday evening.

More information here.

Saturday 14th September

Open church day where we will be served refreshments including delicious home baked cakes.

This was part of the Diocese's OneLife Mission - an initiative designed to tell people about the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We provided the opportunity to engage in some creative prayer stations, light a candle, have some silence or speak to a member of the church ministry team.

Teaching Eucharist

Have you ever wondered why we do some of the things we do in worship.

At the teaching Eucharist held on the 17th February we exployed some of the reasons, significance and ideas behind our worship. We addressed some of the questions raised by our congregation to help us delve  deeper into the mystery that is Christ's presence in the Eucharistic feast.

The morning concluded with a parish lunch.

brought back to Carrington!

We were delighted to lead an evening of beer and carols at Carrington's Gladstone pub where there was standing room only. The evening was a huge success and a wonderful community event.

A huge thank you to the pub for hosting us and to Malin Hill folk band and members of the Torkard Ensemble in Hucknall for playing.
