Thy Kingdom Come

 30th May -June 9th

This is a global wave of prayer calling all Christians to pray between Ascension  and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. At St.John's we will be giving some individual resources to encourage you in your own prayer life.

You are invited to join in prayer events in the churches across Sherwood.


In Church Buildings:

Prayer Stations based on the Lords Prayer: Sherwood Methodist; Tues 5 June, Wed 6 June & Fri 7 June. Open 11am-8pm.

Morning Prayer St. Martin's Wed & Thur 9-9-30am. St John's Sat, Wed, Thur 9-9.15am.

Pentecost Praise: an informal celebration service to round off the week with every one invited. Sherwood Methodist Church Sunday 9 June 5.6pm.

Out and about:

Evening prayer walk:  Sherwood Methodist Church to Woodthorpe Grange Park, ending with refreshments at St. Martin's. Thursday 6 June. Meet at 6pm at Sherwood Methodist.

Pray & Play in the park: Woodthorpe Park Sunday 2 June 2-4pm. Fun for all the family.

Bow Down: join 100's of others to kneel & pray in silence for 15 mins: Wed 5 June at 9.30am. Nottingham Market Square.

Thy Kingdom Come is a wonderful opportunity for us to be united in prayer as          we continue to seek the growth and the furthering of God's Kingdom.
